Jackson Honda Dealers also sell foreign Honda models that have done well over the past 20 years, but it is tough to say how both Fiat and Alfa Romeo will fare in the American car market which has been declining in sales over the past year. The signs are showing that both Fiat and Alfa Romeo will be sold in the United States together.
At the moment, Fiat only planned on selling the 500 minicar model at the dealerships that will get the Fiat brand, but the addition of Alfa Romeo will offer dealerships more options for vehicles. There are other versions of the minicar that will be offered in later years such as a convertible version, electric version, and a four-door version.
It is unknown whether the move will end up being wise for Chrysler as the company has lagged behind both Ford and GM in sales, although Chrysler has been doing better this year than it has in many years. Chrysler executives and investors hope that the addition of more models to their United States automobile market will help the company gain access to new markets and become more competitive. Chrysler is emerging from bankruptcy protection along with GM which both companies filed in 2009.
