Explorer and Electric Transit Connect Updates!

When it comes to the auto world, you will not find stronger levels of competition.  The cars from Pennsylvania Kia Dealer have increased their levels of quality so much that many shoppers will choose to shop there just because of the warranty that Kia offers on all of their vehicles.  However, if they want to remain competitive with other brands they will need to quickly enter the electric vehicle market.  Ford is announcing some great news with the release of their Transit Connect Electric utility van.  Plus, Kia Seattle will have more competition than ever before with the new 2011 Ford Explorer and their family friendly features.  Of course these brand new vehicles come with a higher price tag, so those shoppers in search of a bargain should head on over to Fort Worth Used Car Dealers to take advantage of their low prices on gently used cars.

Some highlights of the Transit Connect Electric van include the ability to drive 80 miles per charge without tapping into the gasoline reserves.  Fleet vehicle owners will be able to greatly reduce the cost of maintaining their fleet because annual repairs for an electric van are only $250 compared to an annual cost of $2,200 for a diesel van.  There will be 135 cubic feet of cargo room which is plenty for utility companies or delivery service fleets.  Some have already been delivered to companies such as AT&T, and full production will start in 2011.

Ford has also spent some time improving their popular Ford Explorer for the 2011 model year.  There will be improved safety features, improved family friendly features, and improved fuel economy!  This might be the best makeover that Ford could have done.  With the popularity of the Ford Flex, Ford Edge, and Ford Escape Hybrid, Ford Motor Company needed to give some much needed attention to their original SUV to boost its sales.

Top 5 Domestics!

When it comes time for you to buy your next passenger car, you might want to consider buying from Pekin Chevrolet.  Their Camaro is a timeless favorite and the main rivalry comes from the Ford Mustang.  According to the folks over at MSN Autos, the Camaro and Mustang are two of the top ten most searched passenger cars in 2010.  If people are spending time doing their research before heading to Utah Dodge Dealer, then we want to know what the most frequently searched cars are because that is a huge indicator of the best sellers for 2010.  There is good news for the future of Rome Chevrolet Dealerships because half of the list were American made vehicles, and with the reputation of domestic brands continuing to increase, it is likely that more and more domestic brands will come to reign supreme in the passenger car segment.

Listed in order starting with the most frequently researched vehicle on MSN Autos for 2010 is the Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Hyundai Sonata, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, Ford Taurus, Buick LaCrosse, and Ford Fusion.  While the Toyota Camry used to hold the number two spot on the list accompanied by the Prius and Corolla, the Toyota recall headlines has put a damper on those reports.  Domestic brands like Buick, Ford, and Chevrolet are quickly making a name for themselves.

Kudos go out to Ford Motor Company for having three cars on the list; Fusion, Mustang, and Taurus.  All three are attractive vehicles with high safety ratings.  The Taurus is great for families and the new facelift has greatly increased its popularity.  The Ford Mustang faces a lot of competition from the Chevrolet Camaro, as both are affordable and stylish performance vehicles.  If Dodge can lower the price of their Charger then all three American auto brands will likely make this top ten list next year.  Near luxury brands like Buick and Lincoln are also making a name for themselves be removing the “grandma car stigma” associated with their brand name and stepping out with a more modern appearance.
