Soon You Will Only have To Sit In The Drivers Seat!

They say that as we get older, we end up more refined. I can agree. With technology, our newer cars are more refined, fuel efficient and simply...smarter. Technology is important to both automakers and consumers. Improving on fuel efficiency is one of the top important on the list but so are safety concerns. Bradenton Chevy Dealer is used to questions from their consumers when avidly promoting their vehicles. Delphi Technologies has released the Electronic Scanning Radar bringing safety to a new dimension. It enables Adaptive cruise control with collision warning, brake support and collision mitigation with brake support. Peoria VW are used to technology questions when consumers aren't quite sure how things work. Then again, when Delphi Technologies makes improvements like this, has a lot of the consumers questioning exactly what that does. With all the new features in any vehicle, Bluetooth, Navigation, USB ports, hard drives and even phone books, can make anyone stare at the dash contemplating how to get a function going. The Chicago Chevrolet Dealers know all to well the importance of Delphi's Electronic Scanning Radar.

Delphi Technologies is constantly improving the newest and latest features to better any product. The Electronic Scanning Radar (ESR) provides two different measurement modes. While at the same time the Electronic Scanning Radar has long range coverage that provides accurate range and speed data that can detect object in the wide mode. The mid range coverage can alert you to vehicles to cutting in front of you and will alert you to pedestrians or any other vehicle that is across the width of the vehicle it is equipped in. This especially assists you in any situation when you have blind spots. Blind spot accidents are among some of the highest accidents types out there. So many times drivers do not see something or someone when changing lanes or backing up.

The Electronic Scanning Radar is featured in the Ford C-Max and the Volvo S-60. Eventually, this safety technology will fade into every type of auto but as the beginning, these two are the firsts. The Volvo S60 collision mitigation system features the full speed range of adaptive cruise control plus collision warning with full automatic braking power. This system uses both camera and radar indications to warn any driver of a potential collision with another vehicle or pedestrian and will brake if the driver is not capable to. Cars will soon not need people to drive, they will just need to be in the driver’s seat.

Vehicles are certainly getting closer to the "space age" time. They certainly have moved drastically forward, to the point you won't even have to drive, you will just have to be in the driver seat. It will almost seem our vehicles will be able to be on "auto pilot" and we will be the co-pilot. My vehicle has so many features, I just learned of another one on Saturday with my headlights. I bought the vehicle in May, go figure. I need to read my book again.

Conflicting September Auto Sales.

Sales are up compared to September of last year, but they are down compared to August 2010.  How do those numbers even make sense and what does it mean to import dealers like Hyundai Kia Green Bay and Land Rover Denver?  Statistics can be interpreted to reflect the data point you are trying to make, but when you are taking information from an unbiased source like Edmunds.com, it is hard to argue with.  So even though sales are declining right now and some auto analysts even go as far to say that the auto industry is stagnant right now, there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

These crazy sales rates are affecting a majority of the major auto brands, including the cars at Nissan Birmingham.  What is even more interesting is that the three American auto makers combined make up 44.8% of the market share for September 2010, with GM earning 18.3%, Ford with 16.4%, and Chrysler with 10.1%.  Compared to September 2009, the American three also comprised 44.8% of the total market share, but GM had a whopping 21.2% chunk of the pie, Ford had 15.2%, and Chrysler only had 8.4%.  Sure, sales might be down compared to just last month, but they really haven’t changed since last year.  The import brands have had steady increases since September 2009.

The import brands that have greatly increased their sales since September 2009 are Honda and Nissan, with 37.1% and 44.4% increases respectively.  Toyota has only gone up 13.4%, but they have been plagued with record numbers of recalls recently as well.  Auto makers are still producing new and innovative ideas to the production market.  Consumers see more creative four cylinder commuter cars and the addition of electric vehicles.

Chevy goes hybrid?

Before you buy any where make sure you check out all of the amazing deals and great low prices on working class and luxury vehicles at Ford Lincoln Mercury Denver. Also make sure you check out the amazing line up of vehicles at Mazda Pittsburgh along with all of their great deals and already low prices. Toyota Los Angeles also has an amazing line up of vehicles for any one looking for comfort ans class in their vehicle. Who says that the working class truck can't be fuel efficient? Chevy is bringing the go green challenge to a whole another level, and they are going places with the working class where no one has gone before.

The Chevy Silverado comes in a hybrid form, and it is already bringing in big reviews. This little truck is one of a kind in the working class automotive world. It is offering you the power you need to finish any job, but it wont burn a whole in your pocket for gas money. This Chevy working class vehicle is a cross over to the hybrid class, but the fun doesn't stop there with this vehicle.

The Silverado is part of Chevy's 2011 line up so it will be hitting the market very soon. This working class truck is one of a kind in a lot of different ways. This vehicle gives you everything from a sleek exterior to power under the hood. This hybrid is bringing in reviews for a reason this Chevy truck is perfect for any one looking for a vehicle.

Over all you can't go wrong with this vehicle. It wont give you sticker shock or break the bank, but it will give the fuel efficiency you need in today's market. The Chevy Silverado Hybrid is a one of a kind vehicle, and it is an amazing buy for any one.

Aveo Gets a Makeover!

There is a brand new Aveo from Chevrolet that will be released for the 2012 market year.  Currently, the Aveo from Used Cars CT will resemble the new ones on the lot; not much has changed!  This rental fleet car is known for its no-frills attitude and appearance, as well as having a great low price that is hard to beat.  In efforts to keep up with the brand new Fiesta from Ford Binghamton, General Motors and Chevrolet had to do something with their subcompact entry level car.

Car enthusiasts can get a sneak peek of the improvements at the 2010 Paris Auto Show at the end of this month before they actually roll onto the showrooms at GMC Oklahoma City.  In addition to making the hatchback a little longer and a little wider, the Aveo just has a more appealing and sporty outward appearance.  The younger buyers make up a considerable portion of the sales market, so many auto makers are doing their best to appeal to the younger crowd.  This is a pretty simple process to do; create a small, fun to drive, and affordable car with a few interior quirks to keep people interested.

The 2012 Aveo will likely come in both a gasoline and diesel option and is set to be released first in Europe and the United States.  Drivers in the U.S. can expect to see a 1.4 liter four cylinder that produces 100 horsepower and a 1.6 liter four cylinder with 115 horsepower.  The two engine options will come standard with a six speed manual transmission, but there is always the option of upgrading to an automatic.  Inside the car, the seats will be more comfortable.  Also, the control panel is modeled after motorcycle controls and features a lovely blue ambient back-light.

Senate Bill Helps Auto Dealers!

The U.S. Senate passed a bill last Thursday that would make more money available to small businesses and potentially create 700,000 jobs.  This bill sounds like it would be really helpful to small businesses like Toyota Albuquerque and other car dealerships, so then why are some Republicans opposed to the bill that President Obama so desperately wants to pass?  The cars at Honda New Orleans practically sell themselves, but when consumers go there in hopes of driving away in a new car, they are unable to obtain reasonable financing.

With dealerships like Ford New York and the entire auto industry as a whole creating vehicles that are more eco-friendly and gas sippers rather than guzzlers, it makes sense that Americans need to be purchasing these new and improved cars.  Just like there are programs in place that will make it financially easier for folks to upgrade their household appliances, by helping out the dealerships and small businesses, it will make it easier for Americans to purchase the more fuel efficient cars they want and need.

Republicans fear that the bill is awfully similar to the Troubled Assets Relief Program, which was the government’s bailout program a couple years ago.  The new loan terms under the bill that passed 61 to 38 in the Senate will allow dealerships to obtain loans in the amount of $5 million, which is an increase from the current $2 million.  All funds are federally guaranteed and distributed by the Small Business Administration.  Those opposed to the bill fear that lenders will make risky decisions that will put us right back in financial crisis, and we have worked too hard to dig ourselves out of previous risky loans.

GM's Long-Term Plans for Repayment.

Can you even comprehend how much money $50 billion is?  Perhaps if you were Dan Akerson, CEO of General Motors, you might have a better idea.  A couple years ago, GM was financially bailed out by the U.S. Government in the amount of $50 billion, and that helped keep cars on the lots at Minneapolis Chevrolet.  Sadly, some jobs were lost during the financial crisis.  While Saginaw Ford Lincoln seems to be financially stable, other American auto maker Chrysler was also bailed out, but only in the amount of $12.5 billion.  Ford Motor Company is doing a great job of getting rid of brands that aren't making a profit.  Mercury will be phased out at the end of this year and there are rumors that Lincoln is soon to follow.

Akerson is the fourth CEO within the last two years at GM.  That overturn makes the employees, consumers, and potential investors a bit nervous.  Current CEO has some long-term plans to help the company out of financial ruins.  He wants to stay more competitive and stay ahead of the game.  The Kia Soul, which is available at any Seattle Kia dealer, is aiming itself directly at the youth market and Ford's SYNC technology is still on top of the game it created.  GM and its brands need to be setting the trends rather than following them.

One thing he is doing that is surprising many auto industry experts is he is refusing to budge on the current price of the Chevy Volt.  It is currently priced at $41,000 while the other new kid on the block the Nissan Leaf is only $32,780.  Akerson is standing behind the quality of the Volt and says that the price will come down on future models, but that their product is superior to Nissan's Leaf.

Ford Focus: New and Improved!

Debuting at the Paris Auto Show at the end of this month is the newly remodeled and more powerful Ford Focus ST.  Current models are available right now at Chattanooga Ford, but you will have to wait till early next year for the new ones to roll onto the lot.  Ford Motor Company hasn't released all of the details regarding the performance or package options for this sporty little ride, but we are sure it is going to be a source of great competition for the car line up at Stamford Nissan once it hits dealer lots!

It could be estimated that Ford felt the need to redesign their hatchback model because the European market is a big fan of the car design.  Hatchbacks are to Europe what gas-guzzling SUVs are to many Americans; they love them.  Ford has abandoned the Volvo engine parts in favor of a turbocharged 2.0 liter four cylinder.  However, Santa Ana Volvo still makes some super safe vehicles that are fun to drive.  For consumers and drivers that are already familiar with Ford's EcoBoost engine, the new Focus ST is going to have even more power and gives drivers 250 horsepower, which is an increase by 25 horsepower compared to the previous model.

Ford of Europe CEO Stephen Odell and Ford Motor Company President and CEO Alan Mulally will present the newly redesigned Focus at the Paris Auto Show 2010.  Additionally, there will be all three body styles lined up right next to each other for comparison, a first for the company.  In hopes of becoming a global household name, Ford is widening the scope for the Focus.  Drivers can choose from the sporty five door hatch, the sedan style four door, or the family friendly wagon.  Expect this vehicle to first be released in Europe and North America.

GM's Akerson Gets $9 Million!

It may sound shocking to see $9 million in the headlines for a new executive's salary, but General Motors has announced that newly appointed Daniel F. Akerson will get an impressive $9 million annual salary.  That is a really large number and it makes us wonder if the CEO of Chrysler Dodge auto makers gets the same amount?  We do know that when all was said and done, at the end of 2009 the CEO of Ford Motor Company, Alan Mulally, took home roughly $17.9 million; that puts Akerson's new paycheck in a healthy perspective! Much more then his hard-working co-workers down at Memphis Ford!

General Motors has greatly improved the quality of their vehicles and now poses strong competition for the cars at Bossier City Honda.  That is an important thing for a company that was bailed out by the government not too many years ago, and is still majorly owned by the U.S. Government, approximately 61%.  New Orleans Chevrolet may not sell the most cars when compared to other brands, but they don't have a majority of their company stock sitting in the government's hands, now do they!

When an auto executive's salary is reported, don't assume they are getting monthly installments of the total on their paychecks.  Akerson is set to receive $1.7 million in cash over the course of the year, and the remainder of his pay package will come from General Motors stock.  Akerson is going to get $5.3 million worth of stock over a three year period beginning at the end of September 2011.  He will also get restricted stock in the amount of $2 million, starting in 2012 through a long-term plan.

This really is a modest salary, and it is the same that Akerson's recent predecessor, Ed Whitacre, also received.  Both men joined the board in July of 2009, and Whitacre stepped down right before the beginning of the public stock offering was set to take place later this year.  To put it all in perspective, the former CEO Rick Wagoner earned $14.9 million in 2008 until he was asked to resign by the Obama administration.

Chevy Aveo: Bargain Car!

In efforts to save money on gas, many buyers are looking for a small car.  They are trading in that gas guzzler from New York Dodge for something that only has four cylinders.  Hybrids are the better choice if you really want to save money on gas, but the initial investment makes some shoppers shy away.  And of course the electric Leaf from Worcester Nissan will be the most affordable to drive, but good luck finding one to purchase!  So, rather than going back to the drawing board, many auto makers are going back to the original four cylinder models.

The Chevy Aveo is by no means the most exciting car on the planet to drive, and some current drivers complain about having to get on the highways.  Well, nothing is perfect, but the fact that you can get a new car with a warranty for around $12,000 is worth thinking seriously about.  We would like to see you find a new car from Hartford Chrysler Jeep for that price!  You should know that the Aveo comes in three different trim levels and two body styles; sedan or hatchback.

The base model Aveo LS is pretty bare to the bones.  Plan on getting basic wheels, basic cloth interior, four speakers with an AM/FM radio, OnStar for six months, and an auxiliary jack for your MP3 player.  Even the second highest trim only gets you a CD player, six speakers, and air conditioning.  If you want other features for your Chevy Aveo 1LT, then you have to purchase them; cruise control, power accessories, and keyless entry.  However, if you opt for the highest trim level, the Aveo 2LT, then you will get all of the options for the 1LT as well as a trip computer, nicer upholstery, bigger wheels, and stereo controls mounted on the steering wheel.

Tim Allen to be the Voice of Chevy;

Chevy's marketing team has hired the services of Tim Allen to be the voice of the brand. Chevy will be using the actor to voiceover commercials and the first model that will be advertised by Allen will be the Chevy Cruze. GM's GMC vehicles can be currently found at GMC Dealer Oklahoma City dealerships. GM will be using Tim Allen as a part of its efforts to revamp the marketing for its Chevy brand. Ford has also implemented new marketing tactics for its Ford models which can be found at a Ford Dealer Los Angeles or other dealership.

Also check your local Honda Dealer Connecticut for information on the latest Honda models which have done well with Honda's marketing. The first ads featuring Tim Allen will be debuted on Sept 7th Chevrolet said. The next day, the Cruze will begin being shipped to United States dealerships. The Cruze is a subcompact vehicle model that is intended to replace the Chevy Cobalt. The Cobalt did not sell very well in its run in the United States, but GM hopes that the Cruze will pick up and exceed the pace of the Cobalt.

The reason that Tim Allen's voice was used is because it is recognizable by millions of Americans and because it is considered to be credible. Tim Allen is also a comedian with a good sense of humor that will be used in Chevy's marketing efforts. Tim Allen was the star of "Home Improvement" which was a show that featured him and several other actors. He was also the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 1 through 3. Tim Allen has been an enthusiast of automobiles for years and he grew up in Detroit Michigan so he was surrounded by the domestic automaker blue collar culture in Detroit. Allen's car collection includes a Chevy Impala SS from 1996 and a 2000 Cadillac Deville.

Ford's Large Sedan of the Past.

You might know it now as the Ford Taurus, but back in 2005 there was the Ford Five Hundred on the road.  You might still be able to find a used model from Minneapolis Ford on their lot, and these cars still look sharp even compared to the newer models available.  Sure, Seattle Nissan has some great family sedans that they can sell you, but can they compete with the super low prices of this great choice?  The Ford Five Hundred was only in production for 2005, 2006, and 2007, and you can get the two older models for well under $10,000.  Plus, at the end of 2010 the price of the 2007 should drop considerably.  Cars lose most of their value in depreciation within the first three years, so buying a car that is three years old is the best value available.

The Ford Five Hundred is a great choice for families.  It offers a nice alternative from having to get an SUV if you need more space than what you get from a compact car.  There are some nice family car choices from Chicago Chevrolet, but the low price of these used Ford Five Hundred models is hard to compete with.  Plus, the Five Hundred is a super safe choice for families.  The last year of production included standard front and full length side curtain airbags.  All year models earned the top crash test scores from both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration as well as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.  However, the new rollover test that was introduced this year has not been performed on the Five Hundred.

Drivers love the smooth and comfortable driving experience they get.  This is partially because the Ford Five Hundred is built on the same platform as the Volvo S80, and Volvo is known for making safe and upscale vehicles.  The overall acceleration wasn't too impressive on this Ford vehicle, but the V6 engine with front wheel drive and a six speed automatic produces 203 horsepower.  If you go with the optional all wheel drive then you get a continuously variable transmission (CVT), so the driving experience seems stronger and smoother.

U.S. Sales Drop Off for August;

U.S. automotive sales for the month of August were at the lowest since February. There were decreased sales because last year had many incentives for automotive sales that were not available this year, and because the economy continues to be in poor condition. Vehicles that were sold with incentives are found at Dodge Dealer Washington and other dealers. The U.S. Cash for Clunkers program was the power behind many thousands of car sales for the month of August, and it would have taken a great August to beat the sales for that month in 2009. Dealers like Toyota Dealer Boston took advantage of the program that offered incentives to trade in used vehicles that were gas guzzlers for more efficient vehicles. The annual sales adjusted for the year fell to 10.8 million and it was also below forecasts for the month of August as well.

Honda Dealer Birmingham dealerships and others are hoping that the government will continue more incentive programs in order to increase sales in a year in which sales are expected to continue to be low. Sales for the month of August were down 21 percent for the year, and sales are up only 8 percent for the year from 2009 levels. The demand for vehicles in 2009 hit a 27 year low and it was one of the worst years for auto sales in a long time.

U.S. automakers are looking to expand their automobile lineups, but the automobile industry is not expected to make a major turnaround at least in the United States for several more years. The result of the recession and an overproduction of vehicles have caused the industry to decline in sales, and lower sales are expected over the next few years as the economy rebounds. Automakers are looking to other markets in order to compete and increase vehicle sales. Developing countries like China and India are showing to be great expansion points for American and other automakers, and Ford, Chrysler, and GM have made it clear that they will be seeking foreign markets for expansion.

Ford on top again!

Before you buy any where make sure you check out all of the great deals and amazing prices at Peoria Chevrolet Dealers. Also make sure you check out all the great line up of vehicles for great low prices at Greensboro Hyundai Dealers. Ford has had the best sales in Canada for the month of August since 1990. Ford Motor Company sales in Canada are up 8% this month. Sales are once again on the raise at Ford, and this time it is not in the U.S. Make sure you check out Kansas City Ford Dealers for their amazing line up of vehicles.

Ford is pushing customer support and sales every where in the world from Asia to Canada, and they are showing the results for their effort. Ford is once again climbing back to the top of the automotive mountain, and they don't want to slow down any time soon. This automotive company is constantly pushing the limits of what can and can't be done in the automotive world.

Ford has sold 24,034 units and truck sales alone are up 5%, and with this news Ford has become one of the top moving automotive manufacture in Canada. However, it does not stop there. Ford Motor Company sales are up 17% in Canada this year alone. This makes it one of the best year Ford has ever seen from Canada.

Even with the resent trouble in the automotive market Ford has managed to over come, and even prosper from any challenges that where presented to them. Ford Motor Company is taking the lead in everything from sales to safety, and as a thank you to the customers Ford Motor Company is expending their employee pricing event until September 30, 2010. Over 40,000 Canadians have taken advantage of this advent, and Ford is offer their customers more then amazing deals. They are also offering them vehicles that top safety picks. Customer service is at the top of Ford's list this year.

Over all you can't go wrong with any Ford vehicle you pick, and you can't walk away from it with out a smile on your face. Ford Motors is Back on top, but they are not alone. This automotive company is bring their customers with them to offer them better vehicles and service.
