There is a brand new Aveo from Chevrolet that will be released for the 2012 market year. Currently, the Aveo from Used Cars CT will resemble the new ones on the lot; not much has changed! This rental fleet car is known for its no-frills attitude and appearance, as well as having a great low price that is hard to beat. In efforts to keep up with the brand new Fiesta from Ford Binghamton, General Motors and Chevrolet had to do something with their subcompact entry level car.
Car enthusiasts can get a sneak peek of the improvements at the 2010 Paris Auto Show at the end of this month before they actually roll onto the showrooms at GMC Oklahoma City. In addition to making the hatchback a little longer and a little wider, the Aveo just has a more appealing and sporty outward appearance. The younger buyers make up a considerable portion of the sales market, so many auto makers are doing their best to appeal to the younger crowd. This is a pretty simple process to do; create a small, fun to drive, and affordable car with a few interior quirks to keep people interested.
The 2012 Aveo will likely come in both a gasoline and diesel option and is set to be released first in Europe and the United States. Drivers in the U.S. can expect to see a 1.4 liter four cylinder that produces 100 horsepower and a 1.6 liter four cylinder with 115 horsepower. The two engine options will come standard with a six speed manual transmission, but there is always the option of upgrading to an automatic. Inside the car, the seats will be more comfortable. Also, the control panel is modeled after motorcycle controls and features a lovely blue ambient back-light.
