Tim Allen to be the Voice of Chevy;

Chevy's marketing team has hired the services of Tim Allen to be the voice of the brand. Chevy will be using the actor to voiceover commercials and the first model that will be advertised by Allen will be the Chevy Cruze. GM's GMC vehicles can be currently found at GMC Dealer Oklahoma City dealerships. GM will be using Tim Allen as a part of its efforts to revamp the marketing for its Chevy brand. Ford has also implemented new marketing tactics for its Ford models which can be found at a Ford Dealer Los Angeles or other dealership.

Also check your local Honda Dealer Connecticut for information on the latest Honda models which have done well with Honda's marketing. The first ads featuring Tim Allen will be debuted on Sept 7th Chevrolet said. The next day, the Cruze will begin being shipped to United States dealerships. The Cruze is a subcompact vehicle model that is intended to replace the Chevy Cobalt. The Cobalt did not sell very well in its run in the United States, but GM hopes that the Cruze will pick up and exceed the pace of the Cobalt.

The reason that Tim Allen's voice was used is because it is recognizable by millions of Americans and because it is considered to be credible. Tim Allen is also a comedian with a good sense of humor that will be used in Chevy's marketing efforts. Tim Allen was the star of "Home Improvement" which was a show that featured him and several other actors. He was also the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 1 through 3. Tim Allen has been an enthusiast of automobiles for years and he grew up in Detroit Michigan so he was surrounded by the domestic automaker blue collar culture in Detroit. Allen's car collection includes a Chevy Impala SS from 1996 and a 2000 Cadillac Deville.
