Chrysler said that they will be offering more incentives to improve sluggish sales. Chrysler is the competitor to domestic auto makers like GM who sells its models at GMC Birmingham dealers. GM and Ford have been doing better financially than Chrysler which has suffered lower sales in the past year. Volkswagen, whose models can be purchased at a VW dealer, and other foreign vehicle producers have done well in the American car market.
Pre-owned Chryslers can be found at a Sarasota used cars for sale business, but Chrysler is now offering a major 60 day money-back guarantee for all of its new models in a push to boost sales. American auto sales are at an all-time low which was reached for the first time in 2009, and the trend is expected to continue for 2010. Chrysler is also offering to make the first two months of payment for customers as well. The company hopes that both incentives will result in more sales of its other models.
Chrysler recently offered its “Minivan Pledge” which is a program that allows customers to return their vehicles within 60 days if they are not satisfied. The program just expired a few days ago and it was started in February of 2010. The new program is similar to the Minivan Pledge except it will include many more models and vehicle choices.
Chrysler is offering to make payments of up to $500 per month for the two initial months of a vehicle loan. The company will also offer interest free loans on numerous 2010 Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Jeep models. The loans will have terms of up to 60 months and they must be secured through the GMAC Financial Services company in order to qualify for the interest free amount.
Chrysler is hoping that the incentives will rebuild customer satisfaction and confidence in the brand, although Chrysler is not the only automaker that is suffering from a lack of consumer confidence.
